Ms. Cawrse, licensed in Ohio to practice occupational therapy, has been employed by WCHS since February of 2001.
Ms. Cawrse is responsible for providing occupational therapy, functional capacity evaluations, and transitional work at an injured worker’s job site. She is part of an integrated team that includes physical therapists and an exercise physiologists administering care to all patients both within the clinic setting and at the job site.
In addition, she is certified in Matheson Training as a Work Capacity Evaluator, which she has used at the job site since 1995. This training focuses on physical effort, symptom magnification, and maximum effort testing. She is also a certified personal trainer and weight trainer.
Ms. Cawrse has provided occupational therapy in the industrial setting since 1987 with extensive experience in program development. This experience has included development of pain management programs for injured workers, policies and procedures, and job site work injury management.
