Mr. Black, licensed in Ohio and Kentucky to practice physical therapy, has been employed by WCHS since February of 2004.
Mr. Black is responsible for acute physical therapy, performing functional capacity evaluations, and providing transitional work services at an injured workers job site. He is part of an integrated team of rehab professionals working in concert with an occupational therapist and exercise physiologist regarding injured workers and administering care to all patient loads within the clinic or at the job site.
In addition to the responsibilities above, Mr. Black holds a certification in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (A.S.T.M.), and has had training in other manual therapy techniques for treatment of the spine. He has spent the last 6 years (4 of which he was the director of clinical operations) working in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic where he specialized in the treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine patients, sports enhancement, functional capacity evaluations, and workers compensation cases.
